Smart Guard CCTV Security
Who we are, how we work and the equipment we install.
Who we are
Smart Guard CCTV Security designs, installs and configures CCTV systems for homes and businesses across London. We also install Wi-Fi and structured network cabling, which often goes hand in hand with a modern IP camera system.
We start by asking what you need to protect and who needs to see the footage. We then assess the property, recommend a system, install and configure it, test it with you, and show you how to use it.
Every job is explained. We show you how the system works before we leave.
What we do
Our approach
These are the standards we work to. We do not publish qualifications, awards or accreditations here unless they are verified.
We ask what you need to protect and who needs to see the footage before we recommend anything.
Cameras, recorders and cabling are chosen for your property, lighting and budget.
Cable routes are planned for a neat finish, and every system is configured and tested.
You receive a written quotation based on the assessment, with no obligation to proceed.
We show you how to view, search and export footage and how remote access works.
We explain what CCTV can and cannot do, and the privacy responsibilities that come with it.
How it works
A clear, five-step process with no obligation until you accept a written quotation.
Equipment
We supply Hikvision products among our equipment and confirm exact models in your quotation.
Low profile and discreet, for entrances and interiors.
Visible and focused, for longer external views.
Pan, tilt and zoom for wide open areas.
Recorders, PoE switches, Wi-Fi access points and Cat6 / Cat6A cabling.
Responsible use
Where cameras capture people beyond your own property, or record staff and visitors, data protection rules can apply. We can talk through the practical points, but we cannot provide legal advice.
Coverage
We install from across London and do not operate a local office in each area. Find your area to see how we approach CCTV there.
