After assessing the property we recommend camera positions, a recorder with enough capacity, and a cabling route that keeps the finish tidy. Installation, configuration and testing follow, and we then show you how to review and export recordings.
Camera type depends on the location. Dome cameras suit entrances and interiors, bullet cameras suit longer external views, and PTZ cameras can cover wide open areas. We supply Hikvision products among our equipment and will explain what suits your site and budget.
If cameras capture areas beyond your own property or record staff and visitors, UK data protection rules can apply. Signage, a clear purpose and sensible retention are normally expected. We can talk through practical points, but we are not a substitute for legal advice.
A well-planned system deters and records, but it does not prevent every incident. Picture quality depends on lighting, distance and camera position, and coverage is limited by what the cameras can physically see. Some buildings need landlord or planning consent before cameras are fitted.
